Installation

Installing the Rigid Industries SR-Series Light Cover in Yellow for a 6-inch light is a fairly straightforward process that should only take a few minutes. The first step is to ensure that the light is turned off and that it has had a chance to cool down. Once you have confirmed this, you can proceed to remove the existing lens cover by twisting or sliding it off, depending on the model of light you have.Next, take the yellow Rigid Industries SR-Series Light Cover and carefully place it over the top of the light, making sure that it is centered and level. Using your fingers, gently push down on the edges of the cover, pressing it firmly onto the light until it snaps into place. Take care not to force the cover, as this could cause it to break or crack. Finally, double-check to ensure that the light cover is securely in place and that there are no gaps or cracks where dirt or debris can get in. Turn on the light to test it out, and you should notice a difference in the color and appearance of the light, particularly when it is reflected off of road or trail surfaces. With the installation complete, your Rigid Industries SR-Series Light Cover in Yellow should provide excellent protection and a distinctive look for your 6-inch light.
